Our Process
We artfully blend nourishing oils like shea butter, cocoa butter, mango butter, avocado oil, castor oil, olive oil, and grass-fed beef tallow, along with other oils and butters waxes, micas and premium essential and fragrance oils to create soaps, body butters, lotions and more—all designed to delight the senses and feel just as indulgent as they smell.
Our soaps are crafted with you in mind, no matter the method used. Each bar is thoughtfully made and designed to bring a sense of grace and luxury to your routine. Cold Process bars are patiently cured for 4–6 weeks. All bars have a rich, creamy lather and decadent bubbles ensuring a velvety and vibrant aesthetic.

Meet Tina
Hi there! I’m Tina Pelano, maker and owner of Pelino’s Artisan Soap & Sundries. A proud Rome, NY local, mom of two teens (and one pampered toy poodle), I spend my free time immersed in the joyful craft of soapmaking, creating each item with care and intention. When I am not in the studio, you can find me tending my garden, or hiking a mountain with my children, drawing inspiration from nature’s beauty for every creation.
What began as a personal quest—creating skin-loving products for my family’s allergy-prone skin—soon blossomed into a deep passion for color, scent, and creative design. Each product is crafted in small batches with care, inspired by nature and my own journey.
Pelino’s is named in honor of my grandfather, a tribute to our heritage and a reflection of the heart poured into every soap, scrub, lotion, and wax melt. Whether you’re seeking something soothing, bold, or a bit luxurious, I hope you’ll find a piece of that story in everything I make.
